He was born April 3, 1935 at Ethel, MO to the union of John Blythe and Bessie (Cassity) Tallman.

Tallman and his wife Doris of Huntsville, a sister Sondra Mason of Hale, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Bill, half-brother Leroy, a half-sister Pauline (Tallman) Curry and a brother-in-law Bob Mason.
